Deja Designs is a company that turns discarded everyday objects into functional art.
I really admire the focus DD has and was ready to jump in with the founder to bring the brand to life. The key in doing so was to honor the history and mood of these objects while presenting them in a modern, elegant way.
To do this, we kept the color palette rich and textured and shot product photos in both studio and natural settings. The combination of spaces gives the brand an approachable, warm feeling. It was important for the brand to feel personal and hand made - - so studio shoots include the odd hand or arm interacting with the objects and framing that show the space beyond the backdrop.
The Founder’s love and craftsmanship can be felt in every object he makes and it was a joy to reflect that across this brand. Check out the shop!
